2. Use of This Website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in any form or order
• Attempt to obtain prescription medicines without a valid prescription
• Use the website in any way that breaches any applicable law or regulation
• Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material
• Introduce viruses, trojans, or other malicious software
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its related systems

3. Pharmacy Services & Professional Standards

All pharmacy services — including dispensing, prescription verification, and clinical consultations — are provided in accordance with GPhC standards and applicable UK law, including the Medicines Act 1968 and Human Medicines Regulations 2012.

Our pharmacists exercise independent professional judgement. We reserve the right to decline to dispense any prescription or supply any medicine where, in the professional opinion of the pharmacist, it would not be in the patient's best interests to do so.

4. Prescription Medicines

Prescription-only medicines (POMs) will only be dispensed against a valid NHS or private prescription signed by an authorised prescriber. By submitting a prescription, you confirm that:

• The prescription is genuine and has been issued to you by a qualified prescriber
• You are the patient named on the prescription (or their authorised carer)
• The information you provide about your health is accurate and complete
• You have not obtained the same prescription from another pharmacy

Fraudulent use of prescriptions is a criminal offence under the Fraud Act 2006 and the Medicines Act 1968.

5. Online Shop & Ordering

By placing an order through our online shop you confirm you are at least 18 years of age. All orders are subject to availability and acceptance by us.

Prices displayed are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice, but any change will not affect orders already accepted.

For Pharmacy (P) medicines, you will be asked a series of clinical screening questions before your order is accepted. These questions exist to protect your safety and our pharmacist may decline an order if the answers indicate the medicine is not appropriate for you.

6. Payment

Payment is processed securely via Stripe. We accept major debit and credit cards. We do not store your full card details on our servers.

A dispensing fee of £1.99 applies to online orders. NHS prescription items are supplied free of charge to eligible patients (those exempt from prescription charges) or at the standard NHS prescription charge rate.

Orders will not be dispensed until payment has been confirmed. If a payment fails or expires, your order will be cancelled and you will need to reorder.

7. Delivery

Delivery terms, timescales, and charges are set out in our Delivery Information page. Risk in goods passes to you on delivery. Title passes on receipt of full payment.

We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our control (including Royal Mail delays, adverse weather, or customs where applicable).

8. Returns & Refunds

Due to the nature of pharmaceutical products and patient safety requirements, we cannot accept returns of medicines once they have left our pharmacy, unless they are faulty or supplied in error.

If you receive an incorrect or damaged item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@maverickpharmacy.co.uk or call 0121 471 2460 and we will arrange a replacement or refund.

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.

9. Consultations & Bookings

Pharmacist consultations (including NMS, travel health, and vaccinations) are subject to availability. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments where necessary, with as much notice as possible.

Consultation services are provided as professional healthcare services and do not constitute a substitute for advice from your GP or other medical professional.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is the property of Maverick Healthcare Ltd or its licensors and is protected by UK copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We exclude all liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this website
• Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order
• We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites (including GPhC and NHS). These are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, our services, or best practice. The date at the top of this page shows when terms were last updated. Continued use of the website after any change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

For disputes that cannot be resolved directly with us, you may refer the matter to the GPhC (for pharmacy standards complaints) or the NHS England complaints process.
